Safety Cover of Asiatic Lions to Expand Outside Gir Sanctuary With Setting up of New Wildlife Division

In the last two years, 204 lions died in the Gir forest region. Of these 204, 27 lions died because of unnatural causes such as falling into a well or being run over by a train.
